Run for Justice 5K
The first Run for Justice 5K was held on Sunday, May 2, 2010 in Tysons Corner.  About 250 runners raced in the event.  The race results (posted by Pacers Running Stores) can be found here.  A special thanks to our sponsors - a full list is on this PDF.

Annual Law Day Weiner Roast
The Law Day Weiner Roast was once again held on May 1, 2010 at Weiner, Rohrstaff & Spivey, PLC.  There was music, a proclamation by US Congressman Gerry Connolly, and of course, lots of hot dogs.

Celebrating Diversity in the Law 2010
The Celebrating Diversity in Law event was held on April 9, 2010 and was  hosted by George Mason University School of Law in conjunction with the Moot Court Board, Alexandria Bar Association, Fairfax Bar Association, National Association of Women Judges and the Northern Virginia Black Attorneys Association. 
 

Fairfax Law Foundation: Capital Campaign Night of Thanks 
The Fairfax Law Foundation held a "Night of Thanks" to recognize those who have been champions of the Capital Campaign.  The reception was held at the office of Cameron McEvoy.

Jazz 4 Justice 2009
Jazz 4 Justice was held on November 13, 2009 which benefited the Fairfax Law Foundation and the GMU music scholarship fund.  Photos were done by Joe Milroe.  A complete set of pictures can be found here.

Mock Trial: Little Miss Muffet v. the Spider
Volunteers, along with the Fairfax Law Foundation, put together a mock trial so students can have a better understanding of how our judicial system works.

Pro Bono Reception 
The Pro Bono Reception was held on June 8, 2009 at the Fairfax County Courthouse.

Celebrating Diversity in Law
The diversity program was held on April 11, 2009 at the George Mason University School of Law.

Law Related Education Court Tour Program
8th grade students participated in a court tour which offered insights into the courthouse and the judicial system.

  Chocolate Lovers Festival
The Annual Chocolate Lovers Festival had many activities at the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Courthouse to partake in.

 Housing Crisis Training
The FBA's Northern Virginia Pro Bono Law Center held a training on the current foreclosure crisis along with the Fairfax County Department of Housing and Community Development, the Fairfax County Office of Public Private Partnership, and Legal Services of Northern Virginia on December 10.

Just the Beginning Conference
The Just the Beginning Conference, entitled "Lifting as we Climb" was held on September 25-28, 2008 in Washington, DC.  The FBA staff was on hand as support staff.
